THE ARTISTS BEHIND
Alberte Skronski
The Stockholm based artist Alberte Skronski is the creator of multiple sculptures in the exhibition. Skronki’s vision was to create a new way of showing pieces in a presentation format.
Simon Dokkedal
Artist Simon Dokkedal has created a sound installation for the collection inspired by the AW20 collection. Guiding the visitor through the gallery, Dokkedal deconstructed the collection and is giving his take on fashion in sound form.
Tex Bishop
London based photographer Tex Bishop wanted to rethink the classic still life photography to create a small photo exhibition for the presentation. Working with the merge of art and fashion in picture form, Bishop has created 12 pieces hanging around the gallery.
Unknown artists
Around the gallery unknown artists created pieces specifically for the gallery opening.
“WE WANTED TO EXPERIMENT WITH PROVIDING THE VIEWER WITH A DIFFERENT AND IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCE FOR THIS COLLECTION. WE EMBRACED THE TALENTS OF MANY DIFFERENT PERSONALITIES AND ARTISTS, INTERGRATING THEIR INTREPRETATIONS OF OUR DESIGNS. IT IS NOT ABOUT JUST SEEING THE CLOTHES ON A RUNWAY, BUT ABOUT FELLING, LISTENING, TOUCHING AND VISUALISING THE STYLES USED IN DIFFERENT WAYS.”
CREATIVE DIRECTOR, SANNE SEHESTED
