GESTUZ launches iconic collection with Barbie.
With access to the Barbie™ archives, GESTUZ has created a capsule collection inspired by a series of iconic Barbie dolls from the 80s.
In their first ever Scandinavian fashion collaboration, Barbie granted access to their archives, unveiling a curated selection of iconic 80s Barbie dolls and designs: a time capsule of fashion and play. Rooted in Scandinavian effortless ease, GESTUZ brings a confident design attitude to the collaboration, balancing functionality with modern femininity. The new collection consists of 14 pieces designed to embody five iconic Barbie characters, representing not only the female empowerment at the core of both Barbie and GESTUZ, but also the strong 80s inspiration that is always part of the GESTUZ design identity.

Barbie en GESTUZ presenteren een iconische samenwerking waarin referenties uit de popcultuur en mode van de jaren 80 samenkomen in een vrouwelijke en expressieve collectie. Met toegang tot de Barbie™ archieven heeft GESTUZ een capsulecollectie gecreëerd geïnspireerd op iconische Barbiepoppen uit de jaren 80. De collectie combineert vintage inspiratie met moderne silhouetten en een Scandinavische uitstraling.
De collectie bestaat uit 14 styles, ontworpen met inspiratie van vijf verschillende Barbie personages. Vrouwelijke vormen, doordachte details en een duidelijke jaren 80 referentie weerspiegelen een sterk onderdeel van het GESTUZ DNA. De focus ligt op kracht, individualiteit en een persoonlijke stijl.
