We are proud to say that at least 40% of our collections are as of now made from more sustainable materials, and we are always looking for ways to further improve.
Organic cotton

Organic cotton


Organic cotton is a natural fiber, that comes from the cotton plant, produced to organic agricultural standards.


Cotton is a soft, absorbent and breathable fiber.


The benefits 

  • No toxic chemicals are used in the growing of organic cotton
  • Better health for farmers, since they are not exposed to toxic chemicals in the field or through their food and water supply
  • Reducing poverty for cotton farmers and workers on cotton farms through higher yields
  • The farming methods support biodiversity and healthy ecosystems, which improve the quality of soil.


Testing program
We have a set of chemical restriction based on which we test our garments before they go to the shop.
We test for any chemical that may be harmful to the health of our customers, our enviroment or the workers who produce the garment.


Animal welfare
In DK Company we have banned the use of real fur and angora wool.
Our Animal Welfare Policy prohibits live-plucking of birds and generally unethical treatment of animals.

Ethical leather

Ethical leather & Leather Working group

We only accept the use of leather that are from animals that have been bred for the food industry or from tanneries that hold a minimum of bronze standard according to Leather Working Group. We condemn the process of live skinning and live boiling and we require our supplier to guarantee that this process is not practiced anywhere in our supply chain. We do not accept leather from areas where the rainforest is cut down to make room for farms.


Ecovero viscose


EcoVero is a fiber made from wood pulp, from sustainable forestry plantations, that are independently certified by industry-leading associations. 


Pleasant on the skin, breathable.


The benefits 
• The production of the wood takes place in a closed system

• Use of certified and controlled sustainable wood sources (FSC® or PEFC® certified)

• 50% less emissions than generic viscose

• 50% less energy and water than generic viscose

• Fiber identification technology, so it is possible to identify the fiber in the final product

recycled polyester

Recycled polyester


Recycled polyester is a material that has been recycled from used materials. The most common source of raw materials for recycled polyester is old PET bottles and raw material waste from manufacturing industry.


Polyester fibres are extremely strong, durable and have wrinkle free properties.


The benefits 
• Lessens our dependence on petroleum as a source of raw materials

• Requires 33% to 53% less energy than virgin fiber

• Keeps bottles out of landfills

• It is recyclable
